The Rainbow Run 2024 Event Details

The Rainbow Run is a 5K colored-powder run: Colored-powder is thrown into the air by all participants at the starting line. Participants will get more color thrown at them (at mile marker one, two, and at the finish line) to mark their progress through the race, transforming the entire group into a rainbow by the end of the race (NOTE: Participants can avoid having color thrown at them by going around each color station).

Date, Time, and Location

The Rainbow Run will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024. It will be held at Highland Heights Community Park, 5905 Wilson Mills Road, Highland Heights, OH 44143.

Registration begins at 8:00 am
The race begins at 9:00 am

Pre-Race Day Registration: Entry fees below are through June 7, 2024 @ 11:59pm EDT.

5K Run Entry: $30.00
5K Walk Entry: $25.00 5K Run/Walk Rainbow Employee Entry:$25.00

***Children 5 years and younger are free! Any current patient of Rainbow can also run for free. Please contact us so that we can register them and make sure they still get a t-shirt.

Day-Of Registration: You can register until 8:45am EDT on race day.

Not a Runner?

If you would still like to attend the Rainbow Run but don't want to run, we encourage attending as a bystander. You can come watch the runners and still support UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. There is no charge for attending as a bystander, but we would appreciate any donation you are willing to give. All donations, big and small, help make a difference. To make a donation, Click Here.  Packet Pickup

Packet pickup for all registrants will be held on race day. Visit the packet pickup tent when you arrive to check-in and receive your bib and T-shirt.
